When it comes to shopping for fun, beautiful, fashionable clothes at affordable prices, no other shop can beat Mr Price.
Last night, my best friend Sunette and I were lucky enough to attend the launch of the brand new Mr Price concept store (in the spiffy new section of Sandton City). (Or as we joked the launch of the store, whose clothing we can actually afford!)
Like Miss Luckypony writes in today’s blog post, I too disliked visiting the old Sandton City Mr Price store. It made me happy to see that Mr Price does listen to the complaints of their clients, as they changed the height of the rails on which the clothes are hung, gave the store a spacious layout and beautifully organized clothing items together in a practical way.
The new store boasts a beautiful clean feeling, which fits in nicely with the re-launched blog and logo. It is great to see how they have changed their corporate branding over the years.
Just because you are buying cheaper priced clothing, does not mean that you do not crave that up market shopping experience that boutique shops like Zara have.
Oh! The dressing rooms made me chuckle with their printed quirky sayings on the doors. (See image)
We had fun, oh did we have fun!
At the launch I had the opportunity to meet the delightful, designer and all round cool creative Amber Jones ( @amberatthunder) , had a glass of Whiskey, indulged at what must be the best catering company – By Word of Mouth’s delicious snacks.
I shopped, laughed, got my eye photographed by a random photog, bonded with my friend, bought a lovely Amber Jones t-shirt, capie shoes and scarf, chatted to a few fashion editors and the fabulous singer and fashion icon Tamara Dey (@tamaradey).
It was more than I expected!
If you have the time go check out the new Sandton City Mr Price concept store, it is truly worth a visit! Don’t forget to browse through the new Amber Jones range or visit the new look Mr Price In The Loop Blog.
