Monya Eastman use to be a corporate girl stuck in an office from nine to five dreaming about beautiful things. While renovating her home her creativity was unleashed when she could not find the furniture she needed.
She made a few drawings and had them whipped up. And that in a nutshell is how her exiting custom made furniture business – Stokperd began.
“In addition to creating beautiful things I generally just like to get my hands dirty. I grow stuff; I have a garden full of cherry tomatoes, rocket, fat purple aubergines & loads of vetplantjies. I’m also partial to winter, old things, small towns & the Karoo.”
